This is my dirty martini recipe. It is very gin forward, very dirty and very dry. Yes, BTW, I’m a gin not vodka guy but you can replace your favorite vodka if you prefer. The most special component is the smoke blue cheese olives. I got a cocktail smoker for Christmas one year. I never used it until I did. Now I use it ALL THE TIME. So worth the money. You can buy them online anywhere.
Stuffing olives isn’t rocket surgery. Buy some good blue cheese and some good, pitted olives. Stuff the blue cheese into the olives. The smoke part is pretty easy too. I added the olives to a glass and follow the instructions with your cocktail smoker. If you want even more smoke, you can apply the smoker to the frozen martini glass.
Again, this is my very dirty martini recipe. I think most recipes call for 2 1/2 ounces gin, 1/2 ounce dry vermouth and 1/2 ounce olive brine.
Ingredients
- 3 ounces gin
- 1 ounce olive brine
- 1/2 ounce dry vermouth
- Blue cheese stuffed olives
Instructions
- Add gin, olive brine and dry vermouth into a cocktail shaker. Shake for 20-30 seconds.
- Garnish a frozen martini glass with smoked blue cheese olives and strain martini into the glass.
- Enjoy!
