Greenville, South Carolina Area
- The Anchorage Farm to plate, James Beard Finalist.
- Appalachia Restaurant, a true farm to table tucked away in beautiful Lake Lure, NC.
- Bucky’s BBQ Best pulled pork and smoked chicken in the upstate.
- The Lazy Goat Classic since it opened. Best fries in the world.
- Lewis BBQ Best brisket I’ve ever had outside the state of Texas.
- L’incanto Northern Italian cuisine at it’s best, Greer, SC.
- Northampton Wines Awesome, off the beaten path spot, great wine selection.
- The Pita House Amazing “Greek” food, best value.
- Restaurant 17 Great food with amazing mountain views in Travelers Rest, SC.
- Sassafras Southern Bistro Mixes southern with French. Beef en Croute is my favorite dish.
- Sidewall Pizza Amazing pizza and salads with multiple locations.
- Soby’s Southern Might have started the Greenville food scene. Southern classics done well.
- Topsoil Restaurant, Multiple James Beard nomination. Travelers Rest, SC.
- 🙁CLOSED Mr. Crisp Great seafood and oysters.
- 🙁CLOSED Urban Wren, downtown Greenville, SC.
- 🙁CLOSED Oak Hill Café and Farm Farm to plate, James Beard Nominated.
- 🙁CLOSED Husk – Greenville Using only local and southern ingredients.
- 🙁CLOSED Monkey Wrench Smokehouse, BBQ in Travelers Rest, SC.
- 🙁CLOSED Mekong Vietnamese using fresh local food.
- 🙁CLOSED Bacon Brothers Public House Gluttony at it’s best.
Charleston, South Carolina
- FIG On Par with McCrady’s above, fresh local food.
- Fleet Landing Good food right on the water with phenomenal views.
- The Grocery Farm to table in the lowcountry
- Husk – Charleston Local and southern ingredients.
- Jack’s Cosmic Dogs (Mount Pleasant) Best hot dogs ever, ask Alton Brown.
- Poogan’s Porch Best brunch in town.
- 🙁CLOSED McCrady’s My favorite in the south.
- 🙁CLOSED Fulton Five I got engaged here, Italian inspired cuisine.
