Review: Fork & Plough in Greenville, SC

Fork & Plough is a farm-to-table restaurant located in the Overbrook neighborhood just outside downtown Greenville, South Carolina. The restaurant opened in June of 2018 in a collaboration between a Chef and a farmer. The farmer brought the proteins and fresh, organic veg and the Chef artfully put what was given on two menus a day (lunch/brunch and dinner). We gave the new restaurant a good month to figure things out and stopped by on a weekend for lunch. Fork & Plough immediately became a place to bring friends and family. The menus have something for everyone. The cocktails are always on point and the beer and wine programs are very good.

The atmosphere is, I imagine by design, bright and open. The back left is a semi open kitchen. The middle has a small market with all kinds of goodies to take home. The back right is a generous bar area with first come, first serve seating.

The service is always with a smile. We have been when the restaurant is slammed and the servers never seem to take it out on the customers.

We highly recommend Fork & Plough. The food is very good. We have been many times and never had a bad experience.

Below are a few pics from just a few of our visits to this local gem. You’ll notice a number to beef carpaccio and crispy Brussel sprouts which have stayed consistently on the menu and for good reason. You may also notice a few burgers and pork chops, these are also an easy go to.
